Reflecting on "GLITCH": A Journey in Artistry

Hey there, art lovers! I've just returned from an amazing experience at the "GLITCH" art showcase by Raw Artists in Calgary, Alberta, and I couldn't wait to share all the excitement with you. But before we dive into the details of "GLITCH," let me take you back to where it all began – my first showcase, "Package," on December 7th, 2023, in Edmonton.

Both "Package" and "GLITCH" were big successes, and I'm thrilled to have been a part of them. "GLITCH" was particularly special – it was a blast! Not only did I get to meet some incredible people, but I also sold not one, but two of my art pieces! Can you believe it? It was like a dream come true.

What's even more exciting is that some businesses approached me about collaborating on custom pieces for them. Talk about a great opportunity! It's moments like these that make all the hard work and nerves of putting myself out there totally worth it.

Speaking of nerves, let's talk about that for a moment. Putting your art out into the world can be scary. You never know how people will react, and not everyone will love what you do. But here's the thing – art is personal. It's your expression, your vision. And that's what makes it beautiful. So, whether people love it or not, what matters most is that you love it. Keep creating what speaks to you, and you'll attract the right people who appreciate your style and vibe.

I want to take a moment to say a massive thank you to everyone who came out to support local artists like me at the showcase. Your support means the world to me. And to those who invested in one of my original pieces – wow, thank you from the bottom of my heart. Your support not only helps me keep doing what I love but also brings me one step closer to achieving my dreams.

Last but definitely not least, I want to give a shoutout to my incredible fiancé. You're my rock, my biggest supporter, and I couldn't do any of this without you. Thank you for always being there, helping me set up, and keeping me company during these events. You're amazing.

So, to all my fellow art enthusiasts, if you haven't already, head over to my website and sign up to stay updated on all things art – new blog posts, new pieces, and future events. Let's keep this creative journey going together and continue building our little art fam and community.

Thanks a million for all your love and support. Until next time, keep creating and spreading those good vibes!

Cheers, Kyla Marie
